Poor Work Performance Blamed on Internet - Yahoo! News
So I began my workday with a quick trip through my "Favorites" folders stopping in at "blogs" "sports" and "news" where I found this article which I found worthy of passing along. I then IMed it to vinnie (see, while I peruse the internet for interesting photos/stories I also enjoy chatting with people, mostly my coworkers who are also surfing/IMing.) Seeing as how it got a chuckle from Vin I then decided to post the story, thus further proving the point that yes, the internet most certainly does affect productivity in the workplace. Congratulations authors, you were right.

Comments:
I'd like to point out that I was misrepresented by this post. When Katie (my unsolicited Yahoo "news" distributor) sent me this article, I was playing Minesweeper, not surfing the web. So those of you without the interent connection at work, don't fret. You can be just as unproductive without it.
